North Shore Sports Awards – Tuesday March 28 at 7:00 pm
The North Shore Sports Awards will be held on Tuesday March 28 at 7:00 in the Atrium of the West Vancouver Community Centre. It is always very inspirational to see the achievements of North Shore athletes. This year, there are people that you know nominated for awards. It would be great to see you there.
Chilliwack Meet Results
Chilliwack Masters hosted an excellent well attended meet. As one of our swimmers discovered, it was full before the deadline. Betty Brussel, the 99 year old phenom was in attendance. She competed in 4 individual and 1 relay for 5 wins. Khosro and Karen B volunteered at the event. Former North Shore Masters swimmer David B had a good meet as always. Katie B came to watch. Once again, I was the only North Shore Masters swimmer. Swam 800 Free, 100 IM, and 100 and 200 Breast.

North Shore Open Water Swimming
The North Shore Open Water swimmers are doing more than posting pictures and organizing swims. I heard that they were out on the day of the big storm. Here are a couple pictures from their WhatsApp group. What were you doing on February 27 or March 5. BRRR!
This morning I tried a new drill I called a 500 FliM. It is 100 Fly and 40o IM.
