North Shore Masters Meet October 17 at Hollyburn

MSABC registration will be ~ $25.00 and SwimBC registration will be $77.00. North Shore Masters Meet Registration will be $60.00. Registration for the North Shore Masters meet opens on September 30 at 8:00AM.

  1. To register with MSABC so you can compete in the North Shore Masters Meet at Hollyburn in October and other non-SwimBC meets like Chilliwack, KISU, Vernon and MSABC Provincial Championships?
    • Email Khosro  that you would like to register for MSABC (with your first and last name, full date of birth and email address) then e-transfer Khosro $25.00
  2. To register with SwimBC so you can compete in the swim meets in Richmond, Nanaimo, Penticton and Victoria as well as Swim Canada Meets outside BC and international meets
    • Email Khosro  that you would like to register for SwimBC and e-transfer him $77.50.
    • A link will be sent to you to complete the application with SwimBC – it will say “pending invoice” when you are signed off. Khosro will complete it with payment.

Coho Swim – September 13, 2026

The COHO swim was held on September 13th with very competitive group in attendance. The results are posted here. Catherine S, David B and Brita B were the top 3 in the 1500 metre. Alex F, Laura T and Mark K were the top 3 in the 3000 metre event. Congratulations to all who attended. Here is a short video of the start

Harry Jerome Community Recreation Pool Opening

I stopped by the Harry Jerome Rec Centre this week to see what was going on with the pool. This time there was beautiful calm water in all the pools. As I was standing there a swimming friend, Trudy, said “Hello”. She told me that NVRC staff are now saying the pool may open in ‘late fall’ but no guarantees. Our friend Cappy, the Capilano River Otter and pool completion prognosticator, was encouraged but was forced to declare no swimming at Harry Jerome for 6 more weeks.
