Nanaimo Ebbtides Meet Results
Three North Shore Masters swimmers made the trip to Nanaimo for swims and Chili. As always, the Nanaimo Ebbtides picked us up at the ferry, took us to the pool in time for the warm ups, allowed us to swim and set 6 new club records, treated us to a variety of Chili recipes and dropped us off at the ferry in time to be back home before 9. We had a great day! Thank you Nanaimo Ebbtides!
New Years Swims
Christmas and New Years Swims were held at Harry Jerome, Delbrook and West Vancouver pools. The Harry Jerome group pictured here swam for two hours and covered 5,100 to 6,300 meters. Congratulations to all participants!
Upcoming Meets
North Shore Masters have 18 swimmers registered with Swimming Canada who can register for upcoming sanctioned meets in Victoria, Vancouver and Chilliwack for only the meet registration fee. All of these meets are arguably a day trip from North Vancouver. New swimmers can still register with Swimming Canada and fit in 4 meets in the lower mainland and Victoria before the end of the season. It would be great if more Swimming Canada registers swimmers and new swimmers participated in the remaining meets of the year. It’s more fun if we go as a team.
