Keep Lonsdale Skateboard Park Open Petition
I have observed action at this park and appreciated the diversity and collaboration demonstrated by its users. All ages! All skill levels seamlessly doing there things! It was impressive! I recall that former Councillor Craig Keating was a passionate advocate for the original skate board park development and a strong advocate for its continued existence in the new Harry Jerome. I am told that this park was built in 2005 and is the best skateboard park on the North Shore. It looks like this group may have been left out of the planning for the New Harry Jerome. Here is the link to the petition. There must be a way to keep in open!
Karen Schofield Retires – Darcie Montgomery takes over
I met Darcie outside Harry Jerome this morning. It’s her second day in her new role which she is looking forward to. If you see her around be sure to say hello.
Here is the list of meets still on the 2021 – 2022 schedule. The Meet Package is available for the Victoria Long Course meet. The registration deadline is March 10. Rod Craig and I are registered. Company would be nice!
